Dems Come to Philly
Political cartoon by Daryl Cagle
Well, well, well.
Who would have ever thought that the Democratic primary would be having a meaningful and maybe decisive electiion in Pennsylvania a few weeks from today.
But that's what is happening. The sparring match turned mud wrestling contest is just beginning to get fun.
When my wife and I moved back to Philadelphia, after 25 years raising our family in Texas, we were surprised to find very few online food reviews of the locally owned cafes, pizza parlors and restaurants. There are plenty of reviews of the big name restaurants. But we're pretty much done with all that. We wanted the best cup of coffee, hamburger, cheese steak, bagel, sushi, hot pretzel, slice of pizza, or almond croissant. So we review the everyday places to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. We like food, music, politics, religion, movies, books, shopping, walking, and exploring new places. We have as many failures as successes when we are exploring new places. I hope you enjoy both.
